The relationship between the abundance of palaemonid shrimps and the abiotic ecology of Osse River, Edo State, Nigeria was assessed between April and December, 2015. Water, sediment and shrimp samples were collected at selected stations on monthly basis, covering some parts of rainy and dry seasons; during night and early morning periods.
