The biodegradable activities of Aspergillus niger (fungi), and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (bacteria) on two crudes were investigated. Treated crude oil polluted water (TCOW) and the raw crude oil polluted water (RUCOW) containing the microbes and the control were monitored for Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Total Hydrocarbon Content (THC).
