The effect of molecular weight of polyester based de-emulsifiers on the de-elmulsification of Nigerian crude has been carried out. It was observed that initially, as the molecular weight of the polyesters (de-emulsifiers) increased, there was a corresponding fourth order polynomial increase in its performance when they were used to screen the Nigerian Crude Oil Emulsion (NCOE).
