A comprehensive study was conducted on the use of iron (III) Chloride 6-hydrate and commercial alum as coagulants for the treatment of palm oil mill effluent (POME). The dosage of iron (III) Chloride found optimum for the treatment was 350mg/l while the associated pH value was 4.6.
