I was at the forefront to attract the greatest gathering of Nigerian political scientists to Covenant University which was displayed at the 28th Annual NPSA Conference when Covenant bided for the hosting right of the 29th edition along with Lead City University and University of Ibadan. Though it was awarded to Lead city because of the long time desire of its proprietor Prof, Jide Owoeye ,Covenant was promised that should it bid for the 30th edition, the chances are high given the strong bid presented at Sokoto.
