Discourse Features of the Language of Nigerian Newsmagazines.

This paper is the study of social meaning in Nigerian news magazine discourse, and demonstrates how news texts function as mediated means of social action and interaction. It also shows how language use or discourse strategies are influenced by the social structure and identities.
